How do I place an order?
Simply browse our menu online and add your chosen items to the cart. Once you’re done, you’ll be taken to a quote summary page where you can select whether your event will be at one of our venues or your own. After submitting your request, our customer service team will get in touch to finalise your booking and answer any questions.
How much does it cost to book Pomelo Events?
You can easily explore our food options and prices right on our website. Pricing will depend on your menu selections, guest numbers, and any additional services. If you’d like a personalised quote tailored to your event, just send us a request and our team will respond within 24 hours.
How do I confirm my booking?
Once you’re ready to move forward, we’ll ask you to review and sign the quote. A 30% deposit is then required to lock in your booking.
How soon do I need to book and give final numbers?
We recommend booking your event at least 7 days in advance to ensure we can accommodate your needs and prepare everything perfectly. Final guest numbers should be confirmed 5 days before your event so we can provide the right amount of food and service.
Can I make changes after sending my quote request?
Yes! Once you receive your quote, you can discuss any adjustments with our customer service team before finalising the booking.
Do you deliver and set up?
Yes, we offer delivery across Sydney and can also assist with setup, depending on the style of your event. Some events may also require pack-down, which we can organise for you in advance.
Do you help with other parts of the event too?
Yes, we’re more than just catering. We can assist with venue sourcing, event styling, staffing and more. Let us know what you need and we’ll help bring it all together.
Can we try the food before the event?
Yes, we can arrange a menu tasting on request. This may come with an additional fee depending on the scale and menu selection.
Do you cater to special dietary requirements?
Absolutely! We’re experienced in accommodating a wide range of dietary needs, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free, halal, and more. Our menus clearly indicate options suitable for different dietary preferences. Just let us know in advance so our chefs can plan accordingly.
What is the minimum number of guests you cater to?
Minimum order quantities apply for each menu item, and these are shown on the product pages. These minimums help us maintain quality, ensure smooth service, and reduce food waste. If you’re planning for a smaller group, get in touch, and we’ll help you choose the right menu options that work within the minimums.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the event may incur 100% of the catering cost. If your plans change, please get in touch with our team as soon as possible on (02) 9252 1563 to discuss your options.
